The following information should be considered when preparing your design project for printing on silk:

1. Art work: Camera ready art work is preferred. When artwork for your design is required, or additional separation and layout is needed to prepare your material for the silk screen process, additional charges apply.

We recommend you discuss any artwork with us before production, as we may be able to save you unnecessary costs. We will also need to review art work before we can give a final cost on project.

We can work from:

• Actual art work. Multicolor art will require creation of a separation for each color. Colors need to be trapped to insure proper registration. Artist should be familiar with creating spot color rather than process color as each color is printed separately.
• Images sent to us on CD or high resolution digital file.
• Line art or separations outputted to film.

2. Separations: Art work for designs with more than one color should include a separate positive black drawing for each color (be sure they are registered to position).

3. Colors: We have a wide range of Tancho formulated colors to choose from but we can provide color matching to actual color sent to us.

4. Strike offs: One proof will be provided for client's approval (this includes a color modification if required).

5. Screen work: Setup costs apply with each printing, unless reorders will follow within 6 weeks of original printing. You may arrange to purchase the screens, which allows us to hold your images for reprinting without setup costs being incurred at a later date.

6. Confidentiality: All images received by Tancho Images for reproduction on silk are held in confidence. These images are used solely for their reproduction on silk according to our contract and will not be reproduced, sold, or distributed in any manner without the explicit permission of the artist or their representative.

7. Silk Fabric Selection: We will provide silk goods needed for job, or we can recommend various styles and suppliers where these materials may be purchased by client and forwarded to us for printing.

8. Production time: It is recommended you allow 6 weeks for production after we receive camera ready art work.
